During a recent freelance project I worked for an electronics store owner in Lithuania. I was asked to design and build an e-commerce store. The main requirement was to make the website accessible to the largest audience possible. That meant creating a fully responsive, easy to use and attractive website.
As majority clients of the store are not very computer savvy, I chose to design upon basic UX principles of a good e-commerce website. The UI itself draws inspiration from concept of card design.
The website runs on OpenCart CMS, which I modified heavily in order to achieve best user experience, both for clients in the front-end and the owner in the back-end.
